These videos are the footage that we got of the the main character when he is beaten up and captured. The footage is unedited, however it is currently being edited by Sam (who is in charge of editing). We are selecting parts of this footage to use for the cuts to the blurry shots of the main character. We have planned to film this weekend to get footage of when they are in the woods, which will be edited and uploaded next week along with the footage to be filmed in college, and then made into the trailer by the end of the week.

We are also going to take the sound out of these videos, (as you can tell we were talking over it), and make our own sound to fit over the footage.

Research and Planning: Filming Problems

We haven't been able to get much footage recently as we haven't been able to get all of the cast together at the same time. There have been a lot of exams meaning that it's difficult to find free time. We have managed to get some footage to use for the fuzzy parts of the beaten, captured main character which I will upload.

Although I didn't get much feedback on this one either, I still got an idea of which photo would be most effective to my audience. The first one got 2 favourites, the second didn't get any, and the last one got one. I will probably be using the first photo, as the last one won't make that much sense as his hands aren't tied back.

Research and Planning: Masthead: Social Network Feedback

Although I didn't get that much feed back on this one, 2 out of the 3 replies said the middle one. As this is the one preferred by the audience this is the one I will probably use.

Research and Planning: Team Meeting

In our team meeting today we realised that the film so far is becoming more of a murder mystery than a horror, therefore we have come to the conclusion that we will have to change some of the scenes and add more in to make it into a horror.

This is a new scene that we are going to add into it:

• Girl is in her bedroom on the phone to another character being watched through a gap in the wardrobe.

•  She hears a smash and goes to look what is happening.

• The shot will be a long shot of the girl walking out of her room cautiously

• The girl turns slightly, revealing somebody behind her

 These are the three photos that I like the best to use on my magazine or poster. I am unsure which one to use so I will get some audience feed back to see which one people prefer.

 This one might not be very effective as his hands are by his sides, suggesting that he is not tied up.

Research and Planning: Masthead Font Change

I have decided that I don't like the font I have chosen for my magazine masthead.
I looked through all of the other fonts that I used as possibilities and have picked a new one. I have picked this one because it looks more smooth and modern.

This font is called Mouse Deco.
